Mark VII Hires Tunnel Sales Director

Industry vet Sturges joins car wash equipment maker in new position
ARVADA, Colo. -- Mark VII Equipment Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of WashTec AG of Germany, a leading supplier of solutions for the carwash business worldwide, said that Jeff Sturges has filled the newly created position of director of North American sales for its tunnel division.

Sturges has more than 25 years of carwash industry experience. He joins Mark VII from Ecolab, a leading manufacturer of carwash and other chemicals, where he managed corporate accounts that included ExxonMobil, Home Depot, Sam's Club and The Pantry.

He previously served as regional business [image-nocss] manager for Belanger Inc., a carwash equipment manufacturer, and has owned and operated a carwash chemical distribution company and managed a multi-unit carwash chain.

"Jeff is a great addition to the Mark VII team," said Steve Jeffs, vice president of sales at Arvada, Colo.-based Mark VII. "He's been involved in over 200 carwash development projects during his career, which gives him a deep understanding of the tunnel segment and makes him the perfect choice to run this rapidly growing part of our business."

Mark VII and WashTec AG of Germany have a combined global installed base of more than 30,000 units and sell a complete line of touchfree and friction rollover, self-serve, truck and tunnel carwash systems, as well as ancillary products and services.
