Pilot Flying J Offering Double Rewards Points in May

Chain also debuts racing website

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Keeping to its vow of business as usual amid a federal investigation into its fuel rebate practices, Pilot Flying J in May announced that it is offering double rewards points for professional drivers through its MyRewards program "to thank the men and women who keep America moving."

"Not only do we want to reward our loyal customers for their patronage, we want to demonstrate our industry-leading appreciation to the hardworking and inspiring drivers who keep this country moving," said Pilot Flying J CEO Jimmy Haslam.

Professional drivers can earn double points through May 31 by using their MyRewards card at participating Pilot Flying J locations nationwide.

"As part of our commitment to making life better for America's drivers, every day we respect and appreciate them," Haslam said. "Offering double rewards points this May is just an additional way we can express our gratitude."

To earn double points, drivers should swipe their MyRewards card at the fuel pump and when making all in-store purchases including food and beverages such as Pilot Flying J's premium coffee, breakfast offerings like biscuits and gravy or steel-cut whole grain oatmeal, and soup and deli items.

"If you haven't tried our new breakfast bar and soup bar, we invite you try these new dining options today," Haslam said. "We hope drivers will enjoy double rewards points along with a hearty, delicious meal."

Separately, the chain has set up a new website, Pilot Flying J Racing.com, to showcase its racing team and provide a social media "Fan Station" for fans of the Nationwide Series #43 Ford Mustang and driver Michael Annett. It includes photo galleries and more.
