Specialty c-store in Okla. seeking wedding proposals

ARCADIA, Okla. -- "Are you or someone you know thinking of proposing on Valentine's Day?"

Pops 66 is inviting customers to propose marriage at the specialty convenience store—to "POP the question at POPS."

For being the first to propose on February 14 at POPS, the retailer is offering a complimentary dinner or lunch (sans alcohol) and two free POPS Valentine's Day t-shirts as souvenirs. The deadline to sign up is February 8, said marketing manager Jessica Ockershauser.

Arcadia, Okla.-based Pops 66, which offers a c-store, gasoline and food along Route 66, focuses on selling [image-nocss] carbonated beverages.
