Pump & Pantry Aims to ‘Keep It Local’

Retailer supporting Nebraska businesses

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. -- Bosselman Enterprises and Pump & Pantry Inc. are supporting the “Shop Small” initiative with a new campaign as part of the “Keep it Local” and the #ShopLocal movement.

Pump & Pantry stores throughout Nebraska now feature signage as part of the campaign, stating, “Nebraska Born. Nebraska Grown. Nebraska Owned. We understand you have choices; thanks for keeping it local!” at all 46 Nebraska locations.

“Pump & Pantry is so appreciative of our local customers through the years. We wouldn’t be where we are today without our small Nebraska communities supporting us,” said Bosselman Enterprises president Charlie Bosselman. “That’s why our company, in turn, truly makes an effort to support our communities and their events and activities. Keeping it local is a great circle, as we provide products in our small communities and appreciate their business, and in turn, we can support them and keep them thriving.”

Additionally, Pump & Pantry is a proud sponsor of both the Nebraska State Fair and the Nebraska State Fair Marathon. Through Bosselman Gives Back, the company also supports the Nebraska School Activities Association, Husker Athletics and numerous community events in each of the towns Pump & Pantry serves.

Pump & Pantry also prides itself on sourcing local businesses to provide products and supplies in each of their 46 Nebraska stores.

The “Keep it Local” campaign continues with Pump & Pantry Perks, a loyalty program that rewards loyal customers with sweepstakes and contests throughout the year, with prizes provided by local Nebraska businesses.

Bosselman Enterprises is based in Grand Island, Neb. It owns and operates 46 Pump & Pantry convenience stores; 44 Boss Shops; the Bosselman Travel Center; a Hampton Inn, three Pump & Pantry Motels, one Quality Inn & Suites, one Comfort Inn & Suites and five Motel 6 franchises; assorted restaurants; quick-serve restaurant (QSR) concepts including Subway, Little Caesars, Caribou Coffee and Cinnabon Bakeries; and the Nebraska Danger Indoor Professional Football Team.
