ANDERSON, Ind. -- As of June 1, Ricker’s Convenience Stores now offers free ATM cash withdrawals at all of its 56 locations. Under this new initiative, Ricker’s will have the largest network of free ATMs in central Indiana, it said.
“Offering free cash withdrawals at our in-store ATMs is just another way we can give back to our fellow Hoosiers,” said Quinn Ricker, the company’s president and CEO. “Ricker’s is an Indiana family-owned business, and it has always been our top priority to take care of our own.”
The free ATMs will allow customers to make cash withdrawals without Ricker’s charging a usage fee regardless of their bank.
Other recent Ricker’s initiatives include a rewards program that saves members up to 10 cents a gallon on fuel, anti-skimming security software chainwide, electric-vehicle (EV) charging stations at nine locations and a new environmental program, Ricker’s Replenish, through which proceeds from every gallon of gas go to planting trees and funding carbon offset initiatives in the greater Indianapolis area.
Jay and Nancy Ricker founded Ricker’s in 1979; 10 years later, they purchased the company’s first convenience store. Since its inception, Anderson, Ind.-based Ricker’s has grown to include more than 56 convenience stores.
