Rutter's Enhances Mobile App

Allows broader access to gaming feature

YORK, Pa.-- Rutter's Farm Stores has updated its national mobile application providing added services and benefits to its users.

Available free to iPhone, Android and Blackberry smart phone users in their respective marketplaces, the enhancements to the app will allow Rutter's customers greater access to their Rutter's Rewards account history, a new game, a new gaming leader board configuration and the ability to "check in" at all Rutter's locations from the mobile app.

A new game is called Cow Tap. Players tap five of the cows grazing in Rutter’s Dairy pastures to find out what prize they are hiding. If three of the prizes match, the player wins win that prize, such as extra spins or coupons for free merchandise.

These improvements come in addition the app's existing capabilities--putting up-to-the minute gasoline prices at each Rutter's location, the ability to provide feedback about their experience, store menus, in-store specials and the Spin & Win slot machine game, which allows customers to spin for a chance at free merchandise in Rutter's stores, at the customer's fingertips.

Rutter's has also launched a website, www.winrutters.com, to make the Spin & Win game available to customers without access to smart phones.

Gamers must be a registered Rutter's Rewards cardholder to play. Customers can obtain Rutter's Rewards cards free of charge at any Rutter's Farm Store, and they can register them online at www.ruttersrewards.com.

Rutter's Farm Stores is a third-generation, family-owned business headquartered in York County, Pa., operating 57 convenience stores in six central Pennsylvania counties.
