Rutter's Rolls Out 'Register, Scan & Win Sweepstakes'

Entry automatic with rewards card swipe; awards 1,000 prizes monthly through '11
YORK, Pa. -- Rutter's Farm Stores has introduced a new way for Rutter's Rewards customers, who have saved money on millions of gallons of gasoline using the loyalty program, to earn benefits with the "Register, Scan & Win Sweepstakes." It will award more than 1,000 prizes to customers each month through 2011.

Prizes will vary, from free gasoline for a month to a free cup of coffee or soup for one year, from Rutter's gift cards to large-screen TVs. The sweepstakes is open to legal residents of Maryland and Pennsylvania who are at least 18 years old.

Customers enter [image-nocss] by registering a Rutter's Rewards card and using it with each purchase made at Rutter's. Every scan equals another automatic entry--there is no entry form to complete--to become eligible for thousands of prizes.

Rutter's Rewards cards, which are free at any Rutter's store, can be registered atwww.ruttersrewards.com or via iPhone, Android or BlackBerry smart phone by downloading the app.

"Customers who use their Rutter's Rewards cards will continue to earn cents-off-per-gallon savings when they purchase items bearing a Rutter's Rewards icon," said Jeff Leedy, senior vice president of marketing for Rutter's Farm Stores. "The added bonus with Register, Scan & Win is that every scan equals an entry, so it's important to use the Rutter's Rewards card with every purchase. A scan should be part of the plan with every Rutter's visit in 2011."

Complete sweepstakes rules are available online. No purchase is necessary to participate.
