Since 2004, WEX has been the fleet card of choice for Sinclair's Fleet Track Card program, which has 90,000 cardholders in 10 states and more than 6,000 locations.

Under the terms of the new agreement, WEX will continue to allow Sinclair's more than 300 distributors to issue a top fleet program to their customers while leveraging WEX's customer service, receivables function and online management tools. The online solutions provide flexible pricing, application processing, reporting capabilities and various credit tools.

"This agreement and Sinclair's recent selection of WEX Fleet One as its OTR [over-the-road] fuel card service provider, reflects the strength of our growing partnership," said Bill Cooper, general manager of fleet OTR and partner channels at WEX. "Together, we've helped Sinclair increase its value to fleets and the truckstop network."

"The long-term extension of our contract with WEX presents exciting opportunities to continue to capitalize on the success of our relationship and the Sinclair Fleet Track program," said Jack Barger, vice president of marketing and supply for Sinclair Oil.

From its roots in fleet card payments beginning in 1983, WEX has expanded the scope of its business into a multi-channel provider of corporate payment solutions representing more than 7.9 million cardholders and offering exceptional payment security and control across a wide spectrum of business sectors. The company's operations include WEX Bank, Fleet One, rapid! PayCard, Evolution1, WEX Australia, WEX New Zealand and WEX Europe, as well as a majority equity position in UNIK SA, Brazil.

Sinclair Oil is based in Salt Lake City, Utah, and is owned by The Sinclair Family Of Cos. Sinclair owns and operates two refineries in Wyoming and more than 1,000 miles of pipeline in the Rocky Mountains. The corporation markets fuel in 19 states, supplying fuel to more than 1,300 branded gas stations.
