ENON, Ohio --Speedway LLC convenience stores will be offering M&T Bank-branded ATMs at 120 new locations in New Jersey and New York through an agreement between the financial institution and Cardtronics.
The retailer already offers M&T Bank-branded ATMs at 48 Speedway c-stores in Pennsylvania.
The recently completed installation provides M&T Bank card customers with surcharge-free access to ATMs at 55 stores in New Jersey; 65 on Long Island, N.Y.; and 48 in Pennsylvania.
The expansion of ATM access in select Speedway stores is made possible through Buffalo, N.Y.-based M&T Bank's relationship with Cardtronics, a major ATM owner and operator and a provider of ATM services to Speedway.
In related news, Houston-based Cardtronics recently announced an agreement with Canandaigua National Bank & Trust to provide the bank with branding rights and surcharge-free access at nearly 27 Speedway ATMs in upstate New York.
The Canandaigua, N.Y.-based financial institution also has expansion rights for future Cardtronics ATM deployments with Speedway in this region.
Based in Enon, Ohio, Speedway owns and operates approximately 2,770 convenience stores in 22 states. Speedway is a wholly owned subsidiary of Marathon Petroleum Corp., Findlay, Ohio.
