TravelCenters of America Signs Deal With Kenan Advantage Group

Firm will provide bulk transportation and logistics services
WESTLAKE, Ohio -- TravelCenters of America LLC (TA) announced earlier this month the signing of a five-year transportation and logistics services agreement with Kenan Advantage Group. KAG, North America's largest bulk transportation and logistics provider to the petroleum and specialty products industries, will provide services to the majority of TA's locations throughout the country. The contract, valued at more than $150 million, was signed in the fourth quarter of 2008.

TA is the largest full-service travel center business in the United States with locations in 41 states [image-nocss] and Canada. The locations serve thousands of professional drivers and other highway travelers daily, including virtually all major trucking fleet, under the TravelCenters of America and Petro Stopping Center brands.

North Canton, Ohio-based KAG operates nationwide through its subsidiaries: Advantage Tank Lines, BXI, KAG West, Kenan Transport, Klemm Tank Lines, North Canton Transfer, Petro-Chemical Transport and Transport Service Co. KAG's fleet consists of more than 3,100 power units and 4,100 trailers. KAG also provides specialized supply chain logistics services through KAG Logistics and KAG Ethanol Logistics.
