VERC Enterprises Helps School

Donates $500 through Mobil Educational Alliance Program
DUXBURY, Mass. -- Independent convenience store/gas station retailer VERC Enterprises recently presented the South River Elementary School in Marshfield with a check for $500, a grant made possible through the Mobil Educational Alliance Program. The $500 grant will be used for the enhancement or purchase of Math and Science programs and materials.

Since 2000, the Mobil Educational Alliance Program has contributed more than $13 million to local schools through its retailers.

"We're proud to participate in such a fine program that recognizes and supports the quality [image-nocss] of local schools," said Leo Vercollone, CEO of VERC Enterprises.

Presenting the check (pictured) to South River Principal Linda Loiselle and Student Council members Jenny Vo and Sean Callahan were Anna Cononico, VERC district manager, and Shan Muhammad, manager, of the VERC Mobil Pembroke.

In other company news, VERC Enterprises as named Jess Zamprogne as manager of its Neponset Gulf location in Dorchester, Mass.

Zamprogne has been with VERC Enterprises for more than eight years, starting as an associate in the Plymouth, Mass., location, and working her way up to manager at that facility. Most recently, she served as assistant manager at VERC Mobil Pembroke.

Duxbury, Mass.-based VERC Enterprises has locations throughout eastern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire.
