Burger King snacks nominated for "best corporate brand licensee of the year"
PHOENIX -- The Inventure Group Inc. has announced that its line of salted snacks licensed from Burger King Brands Inc. was nominated as one of the finalist for the "Best Corporate Brand Licensee of the Year" by the Licensing Industry Merchandisers' Association (LIMA).

The Burger King salted snacks product line up includes Onion Rings, a round, crispy puffed snack with a zesty onion flavor; Ketchup & Fries, an American taste combination; and Flame Broiled, the flavor of Burger King burgers; and French Toast, a crispy snack that is smothered with sweet syrup and cinnamon [image-nocss] taste.

"We are very pleased with the partnership Burger King Corp., Broad Street Licensing and the Inventure Group Inc. has created," said Terry McDaniel, president and CEO.

"We are thrilled with the success of the Burger King snack rollout," said Steven Sklar, senior vice president of marketing for The Inventure Group, headquartered in Phoenix. "We are continuing to work closely with the team to drive innovation and great tasting products to the snack brand domestically and internationally."

All of the branded snacks are currently available in a variety of sizes and price points in vending machines, convenience stores, warehouse clubs, drug and grocery stores, the company said.

The Miami-based Burger King system operates more than 11,700 restaurants in all 50 states and in 74 countries and U.S. territories worldwide.

With manufacturing facilities in Arizona, Indiana and Washington, The Inventure Group is a marketer and manufacturer of Intensely Different specialty brands in indulgent and better-for-you food categories under a variety of company-owned or -licensed brand names, including T.G.I.
