Hershey Officially Launches Simple Pleasures Chocolates

New creme-filled sweets with 30% less fat hit store shelves

HERSHEY, Pa. -- The Hershey Co. has officially announced the launch of Hershey's Simple Pleasures chocolates, with 30% less fat compared to the average of the leading milk chocolates.

The first new brand from Hershey since 2007, Hershey's Simple Pleasures chocolates will have strong brand support with dedicated advertising launching in July as well as a strong digital media presence.

"We know people love chocolate and want to live a balanced lifestyle," said brand spokesperson Anna Lingeris. "With Hershey's Simple Pleasures chocolates, our goal is to give chocolate lovers a reason to celebrate because they can finally have it all … delicious chocolate they can feel great about loving."

Hershey's Simple Pleasures chocolates have a smooth chocolate outside with a creme-filled center. They are available in three varieties--Milk Chocolate with Chocolate Creme, Dark Chocolate with Chocolate Creme and Milk Chocolate with Vanilla Creme--and are individually wrapped for easy portion control in 24-count 5.6-ounce bags.

Hershey's Simple Pleasures chocolates are now available in mass retailers and drug stores nationwide.
