Jelly Belly Debuts Snapple-Flavored Beans

Large size comes in bottle

FAIRFIELD, Calif. -- Snapple Juice Drinks have inspired Jelly Belly Candy Co.'s new line of Jelly Belly beans. Free of artificial coloring, Jelly Belly Snapple Mix is made with 100% natural flavors to create five sweet and tangy flavors: Fruit Punch, Mango Madness, Cranberry Raspberry, Pink Lemonade and Kiwi Strawberry.

Jelly Belly Snapple Mix was developed with natural ingredients, including real fruit juice, Snapple juice drink concentrates and fruit purees.

The color for these flavorful beans comes purely from natural fruits and vegetables, including grapes, black currant, carrot and apple.

"Jelly Belly sought to capture the essence of popular Snapple flavors in a jelly bean with the Jelly Belly Snapple Mix," said Rob Swaigen, vice president of marketing for Fairfield, Calif.-based  Jelly Belly Candy. "We used the flavors and juices found in Snapple juice drinks, so the flavor is noticeably true to life."

Jelly Belly Snapple Mix is available now in several size packages, including a 3.1-oz. bag, 4.5-oz. box and a new 1.65-oz. Jelly Belly Snapple Bottle, shaped like a miniature Snapple bottle.

Jelly Belly beans are fat free, peanut free, dairy free, vegetarian, free of gluten ingredients and OU Kosher certified, the company said.
