Joyce to Receive AWMA Hall of Fame Award

Hershey executive responsible for relationship building, trade group relations

HERSHEY, Pa. --Tom Joyce, vice president, global customer and industry affairs at The Hershey Co., will be the recipient of the American Wholesale Marketers Association (AWMA) Hall of Fame Award this September at the AWMA Summit & Business Exchange.

Joyce is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with Hershey customers and representing the company in various global trade associations.

He joined Hershey as sales merchandiser in Louisville, Ky. He has held a number of positions with the company over the past 34 years, including director of customer and industry affairs, division manager of the southern U.S. broker network and division manager of diversified products.

A longtime supporter of the organization, the AWMA Past Chairman's Advisory Council is honoring him on Sept. 9 during the 2014 AWMA Summit program at the Ritz-Carlton Grande Lakes in Orlando, Fla.
