Krispy Kreme Introduces New Seasonal Glazed Pie Flavors

Lemon, peach available only in mass, grocery, c-stores

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Krispy Kreme is introducing two summer fruit flavors into a new line of seasonal glazed pies at participating mass merchants, grocery and convenience stores, available for a limited time. The are not available in Krispy Kreme shops.

This April, Krispy Kreme springs into its summer pie offerings with a new Glazed Lemon Pie. In June, Krispy Kreme will kick off the summer season with a new Glazed Peach Pie while supplies last.

"We are committed to adding new and exciting treats to our packaged product line," said Mark LaBrecque, Krispy Kreme's senior director of U.S. marketing activation. "The Glazed Lemon and Peach pies are the first of a new line of seasonal flavors we are excited to share with fans of our popular chocolate, apple and cherry-filled pies."

Krispy Kreme's signature Original Glazed, Iced, Kreme filling, and cake doughnuts, as well as a variety of honeybuns, mini-crullers, fruit pies and other snack-sized doughnuts are available at more than 10,000 grocery, convenience and mass-merchant stores in the United States.

The Glazed Lemon Pie has a sweet lemon kreme filling in a pie crust coated with Krispy Kreme's Original Glaze. The Glazed Peach Pie has a peach filling in a glazed crust. Both have a suggested retail price of $1.09

Today, Krispy Kreme can be found in approximately 690 locations around the world as well as approximately 10,000 grocery, convenience and mass merchant stores in the United States.
