M&M's Names ‘Flavor Vote’ Fave

Will join original Peanut variety on shelves

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. -- In honor of the brand's 75th anniversary, M&M's asked consumers to choose the brand's newest peanut-flavored variety to join original Peanut on store shelves. With more than 1 million votes cast in the "Vote for Your Favorite Peanut" promotion, M&M's has announced Coffee Nut as the winner.

Mars M&M's Coffee Nut

Starting in August, the Coffee Nut flavor will join M&M's Peanut, which was first introduced in 1954, on shelves at retailers nationwide. Coffee Nut defeated two other peanut-flavored challengers—Honey Nut and Chili Nut—to win consumers' votes.

"We are so thrilled that our fans helped to shape our brand's vibrant future," said Tanya Berman, director of the M&M's brand. "Flavor Vote was the perfect campaign to show how much we value our fans' opinion. The brand is looking forward to adding Coffee Nut to our peanut-flavored lineup in August."
