“We have been overwhelmed by the positive feedback we’ve received from major national retailers since launching this new product,” said Eric Girard Van Holten’s vice president of sales and marketing. Big Papa Dill Pickle Popcorn delivers the same hearty dill flavor that fans love in Van Holten’s Big Papa Pickle-In-A-Pouch.

“Adding Dill Pickle Popcorn to our line of Pickle-In-A-Pouch items has been fun, and the support we’ve received from our customers has helped the item succeed.” added Girard.

“Having Pilot Flying J Travel Centers make Big Papa Dill Pickle Popcorn an everyday item at locations across the country gives the product staying power,” said Van Holten’s president, Steve Byrnes.

The popcorn is also a permanent listing with such regional convenience store retailers as CST Brands, RaceTrac, Stripes and Western Refining.

Big Papa Dill Pickle Popcorn comes in peg-able 2.2-oz. bags packed in a 12-count stackable display case with a tear-away front. The pickle popcorn has a suggest retail price of $1.99 to $2.49.

Van Holten’s was founded in 1898 and employs 70 people in Waterloo, Wis. Famous for its Pickle-In-A-Pouch, Van Holten’s playfully markets its pickles as a bold-tasting, better-for-you snack.
