Pitcel In at Van Holten's Pickles

Named controller for "better-for-you snack alternative" company

WATERLOO, Wis. -- Van Holten's has named Jeff Pitcel as its new controller. Pitcel will manage and direct all aspects of accounting and finance within Van Holten's and will play a large role in the company's continued growth.

Pitcel comes to Van Holten's with a well-rounded business background, including positions as general manager at Republic Services Inc. and plant controller with Del Monte foods.

Van Holten's was founded in 1898 and employees 70 people in Waterloo, Wis. Known for its pickle-in-a-pouch, Van Holten's is a leading producer of individually packaged pickles. Its products are distributed in all 50 states, Guam and Canada. Van Holten's markets its pickle-in-a-pouch as a better-for-you snack alternative. Their pickles can be found at convenience stores, grocery stores and other retail outlets.
