Snyder’s of Hanover Debuts 5 New Products

Snack maker adds to its Pretzel Pieces and Wholey Cheese lines

HANOVER, Pa. -- Snyder's of Hanover has added five new flavors to its Pretzel Pieces and Wholey Cheese product lines, which are now available in retailers nationwide.

The Pretzel Pieces additions are Cheddar Ale, Cinnamon & Sugar and Gluten-Free Hot Buffalo Wing. The snacks are free from soy, dairy and eggs.

The two new Wholey Cheese variations are Spicy Pepper Jack and White Cheddar & Chive. All Wholey Cheese Crackers are gluten-free, baked and made with real cheese. They contain no artificial flavors and 28% less fat than other leading cheese crackers, the company said.

"Here at Snyder's of Hanover, we are in the business of snacking, so it's vital we provide consumers with new and innovative products that fit into their daily lives," said Shundrikka Owens, vice president of marketing for Snyder's of Hanover. "We take pride in the fact that we are able to produce flavorful, on-trend choices made from the highest-quality ingredients while staying true to our roots as America's favorite pretzel bakery."

Charlotte, N.C.-based Snyder’s-Lance manufactures and markets snack foods around the globe. The company’s products include various brands of pretzels, sandwich crackers, pretzel crackers, potato chips, cookies, tortilla chips, restaurant-style crackers and nuts. In March 2018, Snyder’s-Lance was acquired by Camden, N.J.-based Campbell Soup, a producer of foods and meals, including soups, sauces, snacks and healthier beverages. The acquisition merged Campbell’s Pepperidge Farm products, including Goldfish Crackers, Harvest Whole Wheat Bread and Golden Butter Crackers, with Snyder’s-Lance brands, such as Hanover, Lance and Cape Cod, into a U.S.-only division called Campbell Snacks.
