Yale Joins Just Born

Candy maker announces new president, COO

BETHLEHEM, Pa.-- Candy maker Just Born Inc. has announced that David L. Yale has joined the company as president and chief operating officer. In this role, Yale will work closely with Just Born's leadership team to achieve the company's strategic objectives for continued growth, the company said.

Yale (pictured) replaces Matt Petronio, who left the company in late 2010, added a report by The Express Times.

Prior to joining Just Born, Yale served as president and chief executive officer of the Manischewitz Co. Inc. of Secaucus, N.J., where he was responsible [image-nocss] for a portfolio of iconic kosher brands. Yale also held top executive positions with the snacks division at The Hain Celestial Group and the Planters Co. for Kraft Foods Inc./Nabisco Inc.

Yale gained extensive experience in the confectionery industry from his many years at Nestle Food Co. in various positions directing strategic development and marketing strategies for Butterfinger, Baby Ruth, Nestle Crunch, Chunky and Oh-Henry.
