2018 Tobacco Show Around the Corner

Tobacco Plus Expo set for Las Vegas later this month

LAS VEGAS -- Retailers hoping to get a firsthand look at the latest trends and innovations in tobacco products for 2018 have about two more weeks to plan to attend the Tobacco Plus Expo. TPE is set to run from Jan. 30 to Feb. 1 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Just prior to the start of the conference and trade show, Minneapolis-based NATO will host a one-day seminar on Tuesday, Jan. 30, covering the latest in tobacco-retailing trends. TPE will also host seminars on Jan. 31, which will feature keynote speakers from Drew Estate, Smoker Friendly International and the International Premium Cigar & Pipe Retailers Association.

Designed to deliver information and insight on growth opportunities, new strategies and how to navigate current and upcoming legislation challenges, the TPE 2018 educational track will help attendees better support their clients and customers in the year ahead, event organizers said. All educational sessions are free for exhibitors, while attendees will need to purchase tickets for the keynote addresses.

Distributors will be ready to share, demonstrate and sell their wares, offering top-selling items and fresh draws to attract new customers at the retail level, organizers said.

Under the banner of Tobacco Media Group (TMG), owned by Moorpark, Calif.-based Kretek International, the expo is the largest business-to-business tobacco trade show, organizers said, highlighting a wide range of tobacco, vapor, alternatives and general merchandise products available on the market.

NATO is a national trade association organized to strengthen the business interests of all tobacco retailers on a collaborative and individual basis.
