Cigarette Store Acquires 13 Smoker Friendly Stores

BOULDER, Colo. -- The Cigarette Store Corp. in Boulder, Colo., has acquired 13 Smoker Friendly stores in southern Colorado from the S. R. Flaks Co. The sale price was not disclosed.

The Cigarette Store Corp., doing business as Smoker Friendly/Gasamat, is a regional tobacco and gasoline retailer and the largest shareholder and operating partner of Smoker Friendly International, also based in Boulder.

These stores, in addition to the recently opened Smoker Friendly store in Brighton and the soon to be opened Smoker Friendly/Gasamat outlet in Sheridan, Wyo., bring The Cigarette Store [image-nocss] Corp.'s store count to 99.

Smoker Friendly International licenses its trade name and sells private-label cigarette and tobacco products through a network of Smoker Friendly authorized dealers of which The Cigarette Store Corp. is a member. There are 465 Smoker Friendly stores.
