Geary Joins Kretek

Western Region sales director previously was with Santa Fe

MOORPARK, Calif. -- Kretek International Inc. recently named Sean Geary as western region sales director. He will report to Kretek field sales vice president Russ Mancuso, and he will be responsible for business development and retail growth of Kretek brands across all channels of distribution.

Geary will continue to be located in Sacramento, Calif.

He will focus on enhancing Kretek's retail distribution of key brands and developing key retail chains business relationships, both directly and on behalf of our distributors. He will lead the efforts of western region sales personnel with the company's broker networks, Crossmark, JMK and Reese.

Geary most recently served as key account manager for Santa Fe Natural Tobacco Co. and brings several years of tobacco category experience to Kretek.

Kretek recently reorganized its sales territories. Geary's Western Region extends from Washington, Oregon and California eastward across Montana, Colorado and New Mexico, including Nevada, Utah and Arizona.

Moorpark, Colo.-based Kretek is a privately held importing and marketing company with business concentrated in the specialty tobacco, OTP and e-vapor categories. It is the exclusive importer and marketer of Djarum and Cuban Rounds imported cigars, as well as EZ Cig and Voodoo e-cigarettes, personal vaporizers and e-liquids, DjEEP disposable lighters and a full range of handmade premium imported cigars, pipe tobaccos and smoking accessories. In March, Kretek entered the wine category with its own NUVINO brand. Kretek has also begun distributing VirMax male enhancement products.
