NATO Show Exhibitor Booth Space Sold Out

Attendee room block oversold; limited space available for tobacco retailers, wholesalers

MINNEAPOLIS -- NATO, the National Association of Tobacco Outlets, said that its upcoming 11th Anniversary & Trade Show is sold out of exhibitor booth space for the second year in a row. In addition, the attendee room block is oversold--but there is still limited space available for interested tobacco retailers and wholesalers.

NATO's 11th Anniversary & Trade Show to be held April 24-26, 2012 at the Paris, Las Vegas Hotel in Las Vegas.

Despite a 50% larger show floor for the NATO Show 2012, exhibitor space is sold out, two weeks prior to the show. Exhibitors range from cigars, cigarettes, and RYO/MYO to tobacco accessories to e-cigarette product offerings – the hottest trend product in the tobacco industry--with most exhibitors offering exclusive show deals to retailer attendees.

In addition to show deals, select exhibitors are providing perks for an enhanced experience and to help offset costs to retailer attendees. Commonwealth Altadis is providing a $10 lunch voucher to the NATO Show Food Court for retailers and wholesalers. This is offered both Wednesday and Thursday the week of the show.

"We appreciate this year's turn-out of leading tobacco-industry retailers and manufacturers," said Steve Sandman, NATO's Trade Show Committee chairman. "We know attending trade shows comes with some expense, and we do everything we can to work with our exhibitors in creating an environment of profitability and to help keep costs down for our retailers."

NATO will also hold a drawing for a $2,500 cash prize on Wednesday and $5,000 cash prize on Thursday during the trade show to retailers who must be present to win.

NATO's 11th Anniversary & Trade Show is a major tobacco-industry show for retailers, manufacturers and distributors. In addition to the trade show, the meeting features a host of educational sessions focusing on everything that tobacco retailers need to not only survive, but to thrive in a difficult sales and regulatory environment.

Proceeds from the show go to support NATO's legislative efforts to help the industry.
