Floyd Cook, area vice president of the eastern sales area for R.J. Reynolds Trade Marketing, has announced his plan to retire at the end of this year. Cook will begin transitioning to a role with Niconovum USA, where he will continue his involvement in Reynolds commercial business through the remainder of 2015.

“Floyd has served R.J. Reynolds for over 30 years, dedicating the last 12 years of his career to the commercial success of the eastern sales area; I want to personally thank him for the leadership he has provided over the years and wish him all the best as he transitions toward retirement," said Mike Auger, executive vice president at R.J. Reynolds Trade Marketing.

R.J. Reynolds also has announced that Mike McHugh, currently area vice president of the western sales area for R.J. Reynolds Trade Marketing, has been appointed area vice president eastern sales area, succeeding Cook.

McHugh started his career with R.J. Reynolds in the eastern sales area and after several years of leading the western sales area, he returns to the East, well-positioned to ensure a smooth transition.

Replacing McHugh in R.J. Reynolds’ western sales area will be Mike Cameron, currently vice president of international business for RAI International and seconded to Zurich, Switzerland, as managing director of Santa Fe Reynolds Tobacco International.

Cameron brings vast experience with him, having held leadership roles in R.J. Reynolds Trade Marketing, Consumer Marketing and then moving on to head Santa Fe Reynolds Tobacco International’s operations overseas.

He will begin transitioning into his new RJRT role immediately.
