Mike Landau made the decision to sell to the Gallagher Family, who have been longtime friends. He plans to "step back and enjoy life," he said

Dan Gallagher, the chief operating officer of Smoker Friendly and The Cigarette Store Corp., said that they plan to update the look of the location and fill the humidor to the top.

Havana Manor has a retail store front and two separate lounges, The Rocky Patel Lounge and The Camacho Lounge.

"Havana Manor fits nicely into the footprint of the Smoker Friendly stores and will be a great addition for cigar events and private parties," the company said.

In other company news, the Cigarette Store and Smoker Friendly have added chief information officer David Kittle. David comes with 20 years of experience in the information technology and information systems industry.

Previously, he was director of information systems for several national companies before starting his own consulting business, Datasys Information Services Inc.

Kittle will manage and expand the information technology systems team at Smoker Friendly with an emphasis on security, stability and growth, said the company.

Boulder-based Smoker Friendly offers the Smoker Friendly Authorized Dealer Program for existing retail tobacco store and convenience store operators who wish to market a competitively priced private-label product within an exclusive protected territory. This program is for the tobacco retailer who wants the advantages of a private label, more interaction with other tobacco retailers including information and idea sharing, influence with manufacturers and the synergies that a nationally known private-label brand like Smoker Friendly can provide.

Currently there are more than 800 stores across the United States in The SF Private-Label Tobacco Family.
