RICHMOND, Va. -- White Owl Cigar has announced a brand redesign that includes new packaging and point-of-sale (POS) materials that will arrive in stores in January, and the launch of a product website, which is now live.

“The launch of White Owl Brand’s new packaging, website and POS will help take White Owl’s aggressive leadership in innovation to new heights,” said Katherine Macomber, senior brand manager for White Owl Brands. “White Owl has provided the slow burning cigars that customers desire since 1887. This redesign will ensure White Owl retains its well-loved brand identity but also stands out from competitors.”

White Owl Brands’ upcoming packaging modifications will include pouches that prominently feature a new White Owl logo. The revamped packaging will also highlight the product’s “Slow Burn,” draw attention to each specific flavor variety and call out the brand’s competitive pricing.

Retail customers and consumers can expect to see the redesigned White Owl packaging and POS in stores in January 2016.

The website, www.whiteowlcigar.com, provides consumer and trade partners with an easy-to-navigate platform for all White Owl Brand products and highlights White Owl’s latest limited-time offers and features a calendar of upcoming sampling events. A heritage section on the website allows users to take a digital journey through time, following White Owl Brand’s innovation pathway from the 1880s to the present day.

Also, Swedish Match Natural Leaf Brands (Game, Game Leaf, 1882, Garcia y Vega) have launched their new website, www.gamecigars.com. The site provides consumers and trade partners with an easy-to-navigate portal for all of the Natural Leaf Brands as well as small- and large-format cigars.

“Natural Leaf brand cigars are a major player in the cigar category, and we’ve built the new website to ensure the brand’s presence online is just as prominent as it is in store,” said Ryan Krasner, Swedish Match Natural Leaf brand manager. “The site is a platform to educate and engage both consumers and trade partners about the Natural Leaf difference and the craftsmanship, quality and innovation that goes along with it.”

The new website features a dynamic display that sorts products primarily by brand, and then by flavor and format. In addition, it includes new and upcoming limited-edition flavors, such as Watermelon and Black Cherry, to keep consumers and trade partners up to date on the latest product releases. The site will serve as a resource for Game, Game Leaf, Garcia y Vega and 1882 sampling events, and provide an opportunity for site visitors to contact Game cigars with any questions about products or brands.

Swedish Match’s Natural Leaf and Natural Rolled Leaf products are comprised of a family of brands including Garcia y Vega, Game, Game Leaf and 1882.
