DENVER — For retailers interested in or already carrying products containing cannabidiol (CBD), CSP is hosting a conference April 14-16 to help clear up confusion and update attendees on the latest regulatory developments.

As the commercial availability of CBD and hemp grows, so does its ambiguity, event organizers say. All that can be said for certain today is that many questions remain unanswered. CSP is positioned to bring clarity and help retailers better understand which questions to pursue and how to find answers that can help them engage effectively in this category.

Some of the questions:

  • What are the legal issues?
  • How are federal regulations different from state and local laws?
  • How does a retailer select a supplier?

Other questions abound on what is legal, what products and suppliers can be trusted and how to educate staff and customers on the products.

The Denver meeting will be held April 14-16 at the Curtis Hotel.  CSP will hold a second meeting Nov. 3-5, 2020, for those on the East Coast, at the Omni Jacksonville Hotel in Jacksonville, Fla.
