NEWPORT BEACH, Calif.— Mad Tasty, a hemp-infused beverage brand created by OneRepublic lead singer Ryan Tedder, has launched its first national supermarket partnership with Phoenix-based Sprouts Farmers Market and is rolling out its newest flavor in the sparkling water product line.
Mad Tasty’s hemp-infused sparkling water contains 20 mg of pure broad-spectrum hemp extract in each can with no added sugars or sweeteners, making it a good fit for Sprouts Farmers Markets’ grocery lineup, Mad Tasty said. The retail chain is an advocate for plant-based products, including hemp and CBD, and it has strived to expand its in-store offerings with brand partners who adhere to commitments on quality, sourcing and safety.
Yuzu Citrus is the newest flavor and the fourth in the sparkling water line. The other flavors are Watermelon Kiwi, Grapefruit and mystery flavor Unicorn Tears. Yuzu Citrus features a mashup of grapefruit, lemon and mandarin, offering a tart yet delicate essence, Mad Tasty said.
With this new partnership, Mad Tasty expanded its footprint in Colorado and Texas and is now available in six new states: Florida, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Utah and Virginia.
Mad Tasty is committed to alleviating the water crisis. For every 12-ounce can sold, Mad Tasty donates 12 ounces of clean water to people and places in need through Drop4drop, the company said.
Newport Beach, Calif.-based Mad Tasty is backed by investment company First Bev, Los Angeles.
