Yesway and Allsup’s convenience stores will start carrying canned hemp drink Plift in more than 325 of its locations in states including Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico. Noble Brands Inc., the parent company of hemp beverage brand Plift, is partnering with GPO Plus to stock Plift in the c-stores.

The beverage has 4 milligrams of hemp-derived Delta-9 THC per 12-ounce can. The product is derived from hemp and contains less than 0.3% Delta-9 THC; therefore, it can be sold in 37 states, according to Noble Brands, St. Paul, Minnesota. It comes in Tart Lime and Crisp Ginger flavors.

“We couldn’t be more excited to bring Plift’s products to our customers,” Yesway CMO Derek Gaskins said. “We have a long history of caring for the communities in which our employees and customers live and work, and we’re proud to share those values with Plift. It was a natural fit for us to work together. It was equally intuitive to include such a quality product from a fast-growing industry in our array of food and beverage offerings.”

Plift’s mission is to make cannabinoid products more readily accessible, cofounder Todd Harris said.

“It’s so important to provide people and communities with acceptable ways to unwind without alcohol,” Harris said. “We’ve seen the positive effect that it has had in Texas and Minnesota since Plift launched. Partnering with GPO Plus and Yesway/Allsup’s puts us in stores around the country where people can easily connect with these alternatives.”

Plift is already sold in more than 100 retail stores in Minnesota, Texas and Missouri, according to the company.

The partnership follows GPO Plus launching the Feel Good Shop in select Yesway and Allsup’s locations. The store-within-a-store concept offers a range of CBD and other hemp-derived cannabinoid products from brands like Kill Cliff, Canopy Growth, CaliGold’s Flavorz sold on consignment.

GPO Plus is a manufacturer and distributor focused on developing consumer-branded products for specialty retailers. The Las Vegas-based company has a focus on underserved markets, including group purchasing for the hemp and CBD industry, it said.

Fort Worth, Texas-based Yesway has 425 stores under the Yesway and Allsup’s brands in nine states.
