2 c-store chains among Inc. 5000 for 2025

Convenience-store retailers Parker’s Kitchen and Weigel’s garnered spots on Inc. magazine’s Inc. 5000 2025 ranking of the fastest growing private companies in the United States.

Parker’s Corp., Savannah, Georgia, ranked No. 4,878 and its three-year growth was 56%, according to the magazine’s findings.

Founded in 1976 as a one-store operation in Midway, Georgia, Parker’s Kitchen operates 103 stores across Georgia and South Carolina. The retailer said it plans to open 100 new stores across the Southeast, from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, to Jacksonville, Florida 

Convenience-store chain Weigel’s, Knoxville, Tennessee, ranked No. 4,966. Its three-year growth was 51%, according to the magazine’s findings.

Established in 1931, Weigel’s is a family owned and operated retailer that operates more than 80 convenience stores. 

The Inc. 5000 class of 2025 are ranked according to percentage revenue and human resources growth between 2021 and 2024. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2021.

 “Businesses have faced unprecedented times—economic uncertainty, volatility and rapid innovation,” Inc. Editor-in-Chief Mike Hofman told the winners in a special email message. “But the overarching theme among this year’s Inc. 5000 honorees is clear: resilience.”
