Alon Brands Again Partners With USO

Fourth annual fundraising campaign runs through June 30
ODESSA, Texas -- From May 1 through June 30, Alon Brands will again partner with the USO for fundraising at its convenience stores. This is the company's fourth consecutive year of raising funds for the USO in support of military men and women and their families.

Employees and customers can show their support by making a $1 donation by signing a specially designed flag to be hung in the stores during the fundraising days.

To date, Alon Brands has raised more than $250,000, and it looks to add greatly to that running total, it said.

"As an organization that [image-nocss] is always there when needed for our military and their families, we are always proud to support their work through this fundraising drive," said John West, director of sales and marketing for Alon Brands, Odessa, Texas.

The USO currently operates more than 150 centers worldwide, 11 of which are located in Texas. Each center provides morale-boosting programs and services to troops and their families. As a nonprofit organization, the USO relies on the generosity of the American public to support its work.
