Mega-convenience-store chain Buc-ee’s Ltd. officially opened the doors to its first Mississippi location on Monday.

“Our first Mississippi location is NOW OPEN!” the company posted on its Instagram page. “We’re open 24/7/365 and we can’t wait to meet you.”

The travel center is located off I-10 at 8245 Firetower Road in Pass Christian, Mississippi. Located on the Mississippi Coast, the company’s new store features Buc-ee’s traditional offerings, including Texas barbecue and Beaver Nuggets.

Buc-ee’s fans flooded the retailer’s social media accounts with excitement. “Welcome to Mississippi. We are excited for y’all to be here. Love Buc-ees!” one fan posted on the company’s Facebook page.

Located in Harrison County, local officials called Monday’s opening an exciting day.

“Thanks to the outstanding leadership at both the county and state levels, this long-awaited addition is now a reality, bringing lasting benefits to our region,” the Harrison County Development Commission said on its Facebook page. It also listed that the new store includes 200 new jobs, 126 fuel pumps and “endless Beaver nuggets.”

Mississippi isn’t the only state opening a new store this summer. Buc-ee’s said on its website that it is coming to Brunswick, Georgia, on the southeast coast this summer as well.
