C-Store Retailers Lining Up for Super Bowl Promos

Rutter’s
York, Pennsylvania-based Rutter’s launched a Big Game Bundle including 12 mozzarella sticks, 12 chicken wings, 10 chicken strips, a 2-liter of soda and a 14-ounce bag of Martin’s chips for $29.99.
“We wanted to provide our customers with a way to serve our award-winning food to all their friends and family,” said Chad White, foodservice category manager at Rutter's. “Whether you’re watching a football game, basketball game or golf tournament, Rutter’s Big Game Bundle is the perfect food option for any event.”
The offer is valid through April 11 for Rutter’s Rewards members.
7-Eleven
Irving, Texas-based 7-Eleven will give customers a free large pizza through its 7Now Delivery on Sunday, Feb. 12, only.
All pizza flavors at the convenience-store chain are included in the deal, including Extreme Meat, cheese, pepperoni and a breakfast pizza.
Wawa
Wawa, Wawa, Pennsylvania, is offering 20% off Wawa catering with its Get Game Day Ready promotion.
Customers can use the promo code “FOOTBALL20” on their online orders to get the discount.
Wawa’s catered options include:
- Hot trays: meatball hoagies, mac and cheese and fresh rolls, and provolone cheese on the side (serves eight)
- Hoagie and soup or side bundle: 20 3-inch individually wrapped hoagies with toppings and spreads packed in cups on the side and 10 individual servings of a soup or side (serves 10)
- Chocolate chip cookie box: 10 cookies (serves 10)
In addition, in celebration of its hometown team, the Philadelphia Eagles, playing in the big game, Wawa will offer customers free coffee of any size until kickoff at 6:30 p.m. EST at 503 Wawa locations across Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.
Casey’s
The Super Bowl is the fourth-biggest day for whole pie sales at Ankeny, Iowa-based Casey’s General Stores, which is offering 40% off a pizza when a large one is purchased at regular price.
Casey’s also is holding an in-app sweepstakes to win 4K television and is rolling out crispier wings with seven dipping sauces.
“Casey’s is ready for every occasion and this Sunday is a super big one,” said Art Sebastian, vice president of omnichannel marketing at Casey’s. “We have one of our strongest promotions running to make it an easy decision to fuel your party with our delicious, handmade pizza to feed the entire party. And our new wings have been a hit with our guests, so this is just another reason to invite them to the table this year.”

GPM, Richmond, Virginia, just launched several deals tied to the Super Bowl that will run through March 29:
- Buy two get one 50% off on Lay’s and Smartfood XL, all varieties, and get 2 cents off per gallon of fuel
