Sheetz has named Kristen Blum, former PepsiCo executive, to its board of directors. The Mid-Atlantic restaurant and convenience chain said this appointment reflects the company’s commitment to fostering strong corporate governance, driving innovation and positioning the company for long-term growth and success.
Prior to this position, Blum was senior vice president and chief information officer for PepsiCo’s Latin American division. She also served as chief information officer for Frito-Lay, as well as other senior leadership positions within the Purchase, New York-based beverage and snack company. In addition to her work at PepsiCo, Blum served as executive vice president and chief technology officer for J.C. Penney, senior vice president and chief information officer for Abercrombie & Fitch and held leadership positions at Apple and Disney. She also serves on the board of directors for Sprouts Farmers Market and GuideWell Mutual Holding Corp.

Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits, the largest distributor of wine and spirits in the country, promoted Jeri Rippon to senior vice president, general manager of New York, effective immediately, the Miramar, Florida-based company said on March 6. Rippon joined the company in 2020. In her new role, Rippon will oversee strategic operations and commercial execution across the New York market. She will report to Marty Crane, executive vice president, subregional general manager of New York and Southern Glazer’s Beverage Co. of Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Prior to joining Southern Glazer’s, Rippon held leadership roles across the beverage industry, including Wright Beverage Distributing and Molson Coors.
The Hershey Co. has announced that Tiffany Menyhart has been named chief customer officer, effective March 17. With 30 years of sales and consumer packaged goods (CPG) experience, including 15 years in confection, Menyhart will lead Hershey's U.S. Confection sales team, the chocolate maker said. Menyhart joins the company from Kraft Heinz.

Convenience-store consulting and services firm W. Capra has added Jeannie Amerson to the team as executive consultant. Amerson comes to W. Capra from Enmarket, where she served as the vice president of marketing. Amerson brings more than 25 years of experience in the convenience-store industry, including at convenience-store chain Circle K.
“I am thrilled to join the W. Capra team and collaborate with such a dynamic group of professionals,” Amerson said. “I’m eager to contribute my experience as a retailer and consultant to drive meaningful growth and support their continued success.”
