EG America has promoted Stephanie Martone to senior manager of marketing operations for the Westborough, Massachusetts-based retailer, according to her LinkedIn profile. Martone previously was the senior category tobacco manager for EG Group’s Cumberland Farms.

Debbie Shelton ( pictured above) has been named vice president of hospitality operations support at TravelCenters of America (TA), according to her LinkedIn profile. Her journey throughout TA, which Chicago-based bp acquired in May 2023, has included roles as assistant restaurant manager; store manager; manager of hospitality, learning and development and director of retail operations support. “This transition represents an exciting evolution in my career, as I expand my focus from leading an outstanding team of retail specialists to now including the support our Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) and Full Service Restaurant (FSR) brands,” she said in a LinkedIn post. In other company news, Mary McPherson is the new vice president of truck stop programs at TA, according to her LinkedIn profile. Prior to her new position, McPherson was vice president of special amenities and has been with the company for over 36 years.
Katie Lamal is the new director of strategic growth execution, mobility and convenience of Americas at Chicago-based bp, which also owns convenience-store brands ampm and Thorntons, according to her LinkedIn profile. Prior to her new role, Lamal served as director of retail data and analytics, mobility and convenience of Americas.

Jessica Mente is the new senior director of talent acquisition and development at Royal Farms, Baltimore, Maryland, according to her LinkedIn profile. “The closer collaboration between our training and talent acquisition teams will strengthen our partnerships with operations and drive even greater results for the Royal Farms organization,” Mente posted on her LinkedIn page. Prior to her new role, Mente served as the director of training and leadership development at the convenience-store chain.

PepsiCo, Inc., Purchase, New York, has named Christine Tammara as senior vice president and controller effective May 3. She will succeed Marie Gallagher, who previously announced her intention to retire. Tammara will report to PepsiCo CFO Jamie Caulfield. Tammara joined PepsiCo in 2007 and has served as senior vice president, controller, PepsiCo Beverages North America since June 2023, where she drove the sector's control agenda, oversaw financial reporting and control execution, and partnered with the business on accounting and transformation solutions, the company said in a statement.
