Cardtronics Hires New CMO

Soinski to focus on client relationships, partners, growth

HOUSTON -- Independent ATM owner/operator Cardtronics Inc. said that E. Drew Soinski has joined the firm as Chief Marketing Officer.

A 22-year veteran of the payments industry, Soinski has held various leadership positions with First Horizon Merchant Services and National Processing Company (NPC), now known as BA Merchant Services.

Mr. Soinski has tremendous depth of experience in the payments market, said Jack Antonini, CEO of Houston-based Cardtronics. He has held several key leadership roles, both in sales and marketing.

Prior to joining Cardtronics, Soinski most recently was head of national sales for First Horizon. In this role, he exceeded revenue goals exponentially through market expansion, and by adding top-tier accounts to his prolific portfolio, the company said. From 1997 to 2002, Soinski led a sales team for major merchant acquirer NPC. Soinski successfully led NPC to become a major player in the travel and entertainment, retail and petroleum segments.

In addition, Soinski effectively launched card acceptance in six of the top 10 quick-service restaurants (QSRs) in the United States.

Cardtronics has a nationwide U.S. network of more than 25,000 locations operating in every major market and in all 50 states, as well as 1,000 locations throughout the United Kingdom. Major U.S. merchant-clients include A&P, Albertson's, Amerada Hess, Barnes & Noble College Bookstores, BP Amoco, Chevron, Costco, CVS/pharmacy, ExxonMobil, Duane Reade, Rite Aid, SSP/Circle K, Sunoco, Target and Walgreens.
