OVERLAND PARK, Kansas -- CarterEnergy Corp., a major distributor of gasoline and diesel fuels, has named Kyle C. McKeen as president and COO. Outgoing president, Bryan J. Beaver, will retain his responsibilities as chairman and CEO. McKeen will report directly to Beaver and will be responsible for the company's day-to-day operations. He will become the third president in the company's 45-year history.
McKeen is a seasoned industry veteran with more than 17 years of experience in the petroleum industry. As reported in CSP Daily News last week, he comes [image-nocss] to CarterEnergy from Alon USA where he most recently served as vice president of marketing.
Overland Park, Kansas-based CarterEnergy is a distributor of energy products across Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Illinois, Texas, Colorado and Arkansas. Its primary focus is on developing convenience stores and truckstops with first-time owners, as well as with chain retailers. It also provides fleet and commercial fueling services for companies in and around the Kansas City metroplex and operates a fleet of transports in four major metro markets.
