Changes at Nice N Easy Grocery Shoppes

Promotes Michael MacDougall, hires Hilsinger

CANASTOTA, N.Y. -- Nice N Easy Grocery Shoppes recently promoted Michael MacDougall to director of backoffice systems and added Kevin Hilsinger as director of retail systems.

In his new position, MacDougall is responsible for overseeing all store-level and main office computer systems. In addition, he will also serve as PDI Administrator, making sure that all computer software is functioning properly and updated when necessary.

Prior to his promotion, MacDougall served as Nice N Easy's IT Support for three years. Since joining [image-nocss] Nice N Easy, he has designed and maintained the company's website as well as their network.

As Director of Retail Systems, Hilsinger's duties include managing the service on all retail point-of-sale (POS) equipment, as well as overseeing all projects affiliated with POS systems as well as security surveillance systems.

Prior to joining Nice N Easy, Hilsinger served as a factory-certified electronics master technician for various contractors. During that time, he received Verifone factory training on its POS equipment and serviced Nice N Easy for about 10 years. He was actively involved in two major projects for Nice N Easy: scanning and implementation of electronic pricebook.

During the late 1980s, Hilsinger repaired gasoline-dispensing equipment for Herkimer Petroleum Products. He has attended numerous specialized training schools on Gilbarco electronic gasoline dispensing equipment which led to Gilbarco register equipment training and is currently certified in Gilbarco's Passport systems.
