National Truck Driver Appreciation Week is Sept. 13-19, and several convenience-store chains from RaceTrac to Love’s Travel Stops are offering deals for drivers.
The American Trucking Associations (ATA), a trade association for the trucking industry, said the appreciation week is a time to thank all the professional truck drivers for their hard work and commitment in undertaking one of the most demanding and important jobs. About 3.6 million professional men and women deliver the country’s goods safely, securely and on time, the association said.
Here’s a look at what some c-stores and travel stops are doing during National Truck Driver Appreciation Week and beyond.
RaceTrac
Through Sept. 30, Atlanta-based RaceTrac will offer special rewards to professional drivers registered in RaceTrac’s Rewards program and RaceTrac app.
During September, promotions for drivers include: one free pizza slice per week; one free fountain drink per week; one free Reign, Nos or Full Throttle 16-ounce drink per week; and double the loyalty points on fuel all month long.
“Professional drivers spend weeks away from home moving what the rest of us count on,” said Nick LaFalce, senior manager, fuel programs and partnerships for RaceTrac. “A free slice and a cold drink are a small way to give something back. It’s the same reason we built our Travel Centers around what drivers actually need when they pull in: fast fuel, hot food and somewhere to relax.”
RaceTrac and RaceWay’s network, in addition to travel centers, includes more than 85 sites with high-flow diesel canopies.
Love’s Travel Stops
Love’s is also celebrating its professional drivers in September through the Love’s Rewards app. Deals running throughout the month include double points in stores and triple points on drink refills.
Other deals include:
- Buy one, get one free breakfast sandwiches (Sept. 7-13)
- Buy one Drummies three-count, get a free egg cup (Sept. 14-20)
- Buy one, get one free taco (Sept. 21-27)
- Buy two, get one free Old Wisconsin Meat Snacks three-ounce (Sept. 13-19)
- A free Little Debbie Single-Serve on Sept. 16
- Buy one, get two free gloves (Sept. 1-Oct. 28)

Oklahoma City-based Love’s has 679 travel centers and convenience stores in 42 states.
Pilot Co.
Pilot Co. is offering rewards all September for professional drivers in the Pilot app. New offerings are available each week. It’s also hosting surprise pop-up events at select locations around the country.
Pilot is also working on other improvements for drivers, it said. This includes a more streamlined process for parking, where drivers can check in digitally through the Pilot app, and the addition of a new elite status through Pilot’s Push for Points rewards program.
The program enables drivers to roll over their elite status for the next month after fueling 1,200 gallons, Pilot said.
Pilot is also partnering with Diesel Brothers and Kenworth to give away a custom-built Kenworth edition and $50,000 to one outstanding professional driver. Nominate a driver through the Road Warrior entry form here through Sept. 19.
Knoxville, Tennessee-based Pilot Co. is the largest operator of travel centers in North America, with more than 750 locations across 44 states and six Canadian provinces, selling about 14 billion gallons of fuel a year and about $3 billion in food and merchandise.
- Pilot Co. is No. 16 on CSP’s 2026 Top 202 ranking of U.S. c-store chains by store count. Love’s Travel Stops is No. 14 and RaceTrac is No. 18.
Dolly’s Tennessean Travel Stop
Dolly’s Tennessean Travel Stop, which opened in June in Cornersville, Tennessee, is offering deals for truckers from Sept. 13-19.
The deals include:
- Free self-serve Cup of Ambition Coffee
- Free two-scoop ice cream at the Cup of Ambition Coffee Shop
- Free pulled pork or brisket sandwich, a small Lay’s Classic chips and fountain drink at DLY BBQ Grab & Go
- Truckers can skip the line for restaurant dining and visit the host stand for access to reserved seating
“Truckers have always been such an important part of keeping our country moving, and we want to take this important week to show our appreciation for everything they do,” said Gregory H. Sachs, managing partner of Dolly’s Tennessean Travel Stop. “Dolly’s Tennessean Travel Stop was created to be a place where professional drivers can feel welcomed, appreciated and at home.”
To receive the perks, truckers must show they are members of the Truckers Perk Program and show their CDL on site, the company said.
The travel stop was created by Sachs, Danny Nozell and the late superstar Dolly Parton.
