TEXARKANA, Texas -- Convenience store retailer E-Z Mart Inc. continues to grow and expand its presence with the opening of two new locations in Broken Bow, Okla., and in Kilgore, Texas.
This growth allows E-Z Mart to better serve the convenience needs of its customers and provide employment opportunities within these communities, the company said.
E-Z Mart's remodeling efforts continue as well. Major efforts over the last few months include a store in Little Rock, Ark., and three in the state of Oklahoma--Edmond, Spiro and Oklahoma City. The company said that it is currently in the process of updating other locations.
Jim Yates launched his first store in Nashville, Ark., in1970. Based in Texarkana, Texas, E-Z Mart remains family owned and operated and is one of the largest privately held convenience store chains in the nation. The chain currently operates 300 convenience stores throughout Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas.
E-Z Mart was the winner of the cleanest public restrooms category in the 2013 CSP-Service Intelligence Mystery Shop.
