EG America Launches 12 Days of Cumby’s Giveaway

Convenience-store chain’s holiday promotion includes prizes in partnership with brands like Monster, Tornado, Pepsi, Coca Cola

Cumberland Farms, an EG America brand based in Westborough, Massachusetts, is celebrating the holidays with a ‘12 days of Cumby’s’ sweepstakes, offering 12 days of giveaways to celebrate the holidays. 

Running through Dec. 22, customers can join in by following Cumberland Farms on Instagram and liking and sharing the daily posts within 24 hours per post. Customers can win a variety of prizes such as gas, coffee, swag and experiences from brands like Monster Energy, Tornado, Pepsi, Coca Cola and Hershey. 

“There’s no better way to ring in the holiday season than with 12 days of Cumby’s,” said Whitney Johnson, vice president of digital commerce. “We’re offering up a different giveaway each day that our guests will be clamoring to get their hands on.”

In addition to Cumberland Farms, Stewart’s Shops launched holiday giveaway promotions via its Facebook pagewhere throughout the month of December, it will give away gift cards, merch and more.

Pilot Co. also hosted a seasonal ‘Hauliday’ giveaway on its Facebook page where customers won travel gear, gift cards and other items.

Founded in 2001 by the Issa family, Blackburn, United Kingdom-based EG Group is a gasoline forecourt and retail convenience operator with more than 6,200 sites across the United Kingdom and Ireland, Europe, the United States and Australia. In 2018, EG Group established itself in the United States as EG America by acquiring Kroger’s 762-site c-store network, which included the Turkey Hill, Loaf 'N Jug, Kwik Shop, Tom Thumb and Quik Stop banners. It acquired TravelCenters of America’s Minit Mart convenience-store business in 2018. The portfolio included 225 c-stores. And in 2019, among other acquisitions, EG Group acquired Cumberland Farms and its nearly 660 c-stores in the Northeast and Florida.
