ExtraMile Convenience Stores LLC has opened its first location in the Pelican State. The new Texaco-branded store, at 4095 State Highway 59 in Mandeville, Louisiana, opened on May 22.

  • ExtraMile Convenience Stores is No. 8 on CSP’s 2024 Top 40 Update to the 2023 Top 202 ranking of U.S. c-store chains by store count. Watch for the full 2024 Top 202 ranking in the June issue of CSP magazine and in CSP Daily News.

Mandeville is on the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain, near New Orleans.

“Mandeville is more on the southern end of Louisiana, and we are targeting growth where we can leverage our operations, which includes in and around that area but also into neighboring Mississippi,” ExtraMile spokesperson Dan Foscalina told CSP Daily News.

The store features ExtraMile’s new refreshed, modern exterior look that the retailer is rolling out this year. Consumers will also see the updated stores in Oregon, Washington, California, Arizona, Utah and Georgia.

Pleasanton, California-based ExtraMile, a joint venture between Chevron U.S.A. Inc. and Jacksons Food Stores, debuted an exterior refresh program in January, with a goal of 250 site conversions this year. The ExtraMile-branded network includes nearly 1,100 locations.

The location also features a refreshed Texaco forecourt, which Chevron U.S.A. Inc. debuted in July 2023. It updates the core retail brand elements, including an evolved color scheme, 3-D canopy design, modern pole sign options to be more visible to drivers, noticeable pump flags and emphasis on Texaco With Techron fuels.
