Former “Saturday Night Live” producer Lindsay Shookus will host the opening general session at the 2026 NACS Show in Las Vegas.

The National Association of Convenience Stores said on Wednesday that Shookus will take the stage Oct. 6 and share her experiences managing “SNL” personalities and celebrity guests, all while navigating the pressures of producing a live TV show and focusing on building relationships and trust.

The 2026 NACS Show will take place Oct. 6-9 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Registration is open now for the annual event for the convenience-store industry.

At the 2025 NACS Show, held in Chicago, Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes, known as Jay and Silent Bob from the 1994 movie “Clerks,” were the keynote speakers at the closing general session. There were more than 25,000 attendees at the 2025 NACS Show, a record for a Chicago-hosted NACS Show, the association said.

Shookus was a producer at “SNL” for 20 years, NACS said. She ran “SNL’s” talent department and was responsible for booking the hosts, musical guests and cast for 415 live shows, NACS said, citing Shookus’ Instagram account. Most recently, she executive produced the HBO docuseries “Alex vs. ARod.”
