BEACHWOOD, N.J. --QuickChek is set to open its first convenience store offering pharmacy services and fuel. The retailer will open a new, 7,460-square-foot c-store on July 18 in Beachwood, N.J., just down the road from its current store.
Open seven days a week, the QuickChek Pharmacy carries a full line of health and beauty products at competitive prices. The pharmacy also provides complete immunization services including vaccines for flu, shingles, hepatitis A and B, meningitis and more. It accepts all major prescription insurance plans.
The 24-hour store also offers oven-toasted subs, sandwiches, wraps and salads and hot and cold beverages.
In addition to its “coffee wall,” the new store will feature baristas who can customize more than 60 varieties of handcrafted hot and iced-cold drinks, including blended-to-order fruit smoothies and fresh-brewed espressos brewed with QuickChek’s Dark Roast espresso beans in regular, decaffeinated and extra shots.
Consumers in a national survey conducted by Chicago-based foodservice consulting firm Technomic in 2014 voted the chain’s coffee the best in America.
“We are excited to open our first store that offers all of our convenience items in one location as we continue to serve the Beachwood community,” said Dean Durling, CEO of Whitehouse Station, N.J.-based QuickChek.
QuickChek convenience stores provide one-stop shopping, offering a wide variety of grocery items including fresh baked goods from an in-store bakery. The company continues to expand its mobile ordering menu.
Additional amenities for the new Beachwood store include no-fee ATMs, outdoor seating for 16, eight gasoline pumps offering high-quality fuel and 49 parking spaces.
The family-owned company operates 143 stores, including 10 with pharmacies and 55 with fuel, throughout New Jersey, New York’s Hudson Valley and Long Island.
