
Gas Express, a franchisee of Circle K convenience stores that operates about 160 locations, notified customers of a data breach at its stores in Atlanta, according to a report that the chain filed with the attorney general of Massachusetts.
The chain said names, social security numbers and driver’s license numbers were compromised. No credit card, debit card or medical records were exposed, according to the report.
The attorney general’s report notes that the data breach was reported on Jan. 13 and that two Massachusetts residents were affected.
Gas Express is offering customers 24 months of complimentary identity protection services. Customers can also place a security freeze on their credit reports.

Laval, Quebec-based Alimentation Couche-Tard operates in 31 countries and territories, with more than 16,700 stores.
