Jim Kastle Joins 7-Eleven as Chief Information Security Officer

Veteran CPG executive previously worked for Kimberly-Clark, Conagra, Diebold

Jim Kastle started a new position in December 2024 as Chief Information Security Officer at 7-Eleven Inc. in Irving, Texas, Kastle said in a recent LinkedIn post. He reports to Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer John Phee.

“We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Jim Kastle as our Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at 7-Eleven,” the company said in a statement provided to CSP. “Jim has a proven track record of driving innovative strategies and mitigating intricate risks, having previously served in a CISO role at various companies. As we continue to grow, he will play a critical role in enhancing 7-Eleven’s security and ensuring the protection of our data and infrastructure. We look forward to the leadership, expertise and vision Jim will bring to the 7-Eleven team.”

Before joining 7-Eleven, Kastle served as CISO at Irving, Texas-based consumer goods and personal care company Kimberly-Clark for more than three-and-a-half years. Previous to serving in that position, he was CISO at Chicago-based foodservice and consumer packaged goods (CPG) company Conagra Brands for more than five years. And before that, for one year, he was regional chief information officer and chief security officer at ATM maker Diebold Inc., North Canton, Ohio.
