KSS Hires Johnson

Former 7-Eleven gas exec appointed executive advisor

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- KSS, a provider of pricing solutions to the petroleum/convenience, chain drug and grocery sectors, has appointed Bob Johnson as executive advisor. His appointment brings in-depth knowledge of the North American markets and deep understanding of gasoline pricing operations, strategies and tactics to KSS, the company said.

Johnson was previously general manager of gasoline and environmental services at 7-Eleven Inc., where he spent 32 years overseeing the growth of the company's gasoline business and, more recently, steering the company [image-nocss] to record gasoline performance gains.

As an executive advisor, he will provide input into company strategy, product direction and sales and marketing activities.

Florham Park, N.J.-based KSS is a supplier of comprehensive pricing intelligence, optimization and execution solutions to the convenience retail, grocery, chain drug and petroleum industries. KSS software is available as an onsite, fully integrated system.
