OKLAHOMA CITY — Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. has introduced Love’s Travel Snacks, the company’s first line of private-label snacks and candy.

The portfolio includes sour cherries in the shape of hearts, gummy bears, gummy worms, sour gummy worms, fruity orange slices, starlight mints, French burnt peanuts, peach rings and assorted fruit slices. One bag of Love’s Travel Snacks is available for $1.69. On June 25, Love’s will begin selling the bags for a daily bundled price of two for $3.

Additional snacks will be launched in the future, the company said.

"Stopping at Love's has become even sweeter for drivers across the country," said Wade Hollis, senior manager of category buyers for merchandise for Love's. "This line provides our customers good value, innovative flavors and offers they can't find anywhere else. These products further define our commitment to highway hospitality and being the one-stop shop for travel needs."

The launch reflects Love’s entrepreneurial culture of pushing for new products and services, the company said. It also allows Love's to better ensure store aisles remain stocked for customers who need to quickly get back on the road.

The Love's travel-stop network includes more than 480 locations in 41 states. The Oklahoma City-based company also has more than 350 service centers, which include Speedco and on-site Love's Truck Tire Care locations. The chain ranked No. 17 in the Top 40 update to  CSP’s 2018 Top 202 ranking of the largest convenience-store chains in the United States.
